Hand made papers from linen, rags, cotton, hemp or flax, sometimes wood, and also many vegetables and plants.

Papermaker since 1977, I have set up my own workshop in a booktown in Lorraine, in the East of France  - 280 inhabitants, 500 cows,  23 second-hand booksellers,  450 000 second-hand books,  the Printing and Paper's House  - Opened all the year long, this Village has received 80 000 visitors last year. Fontenoy-la-Joûte is a typical village dating from the 12th century, with a 13th century chapel, with 18th century house and farms side by side. It is lying at the bottom of Vosges mountain, at 55 kms S.E. from Nancy, 5 km East from Baccarat, the Crystal city.
